Globe valve used in a pipeline to regulate the flow of fluid. It gets its name from the spherical shape of the valve’s body, which houses an internal baffle that separates the inlet and outlet ports of the valve. The baffle has a hole or port through its center that can be aligned with the inlet and outlet ports to allow fluid to flow through, or rotated to block the flow completely. This design allows for precise control over the flow rate and direction of the fluid.
